Job Description

YourWorld Medical Recruitment is currently searching for Cardiac Scientist interested in a Permanent Full time job opportunity located in Brisbane’s North.

Successful candidates will possess recent experience in working within a Australian based hospital or a clinic, posses a positive attitude and the right motivation for the job. ASAR registration, AIR registration, police check and full occupational health records are also required.

Located in Brisbane's northern suburbs, they are a private tertiary referral hospital that provides a broad range of clinical services. It is a 195 bed acute care facility, which includes 30 dedicated cardiac beds including a 10 bed Acute Coronary Unit.

Currently on offer is a full-time position for a Cardiac Scientist (or alternatively 2 part-time job share positions) within the Cardiac Catheter Laboratory. These services consist of Coronary Angiography, Angioplasty, & Valvuloplasty, Right Heart Catheterisation, Pacemaker & Defibrillation Implantation, Electrophysiology Studies & Radiofrequency/Cryoablation.

To Be Eligible:

• Degree in Science (or equivalent) with a strong component of human physiology

• Haemo-dynamic monitoring experience

• Electrophysiology and Permanent Pacing experience

• Be Open to flexible hours including rostered on-call duties

• Extensive use of Cryoablation for AF

Desired Qualifications and Memberships

•Certificate of Electrophysiology Institute of Australasia

•International Board of Heart Rhythm Examiners (Electrophysiology & Pacing)

•3D experience highly sought after but not necessary as full training will be provide
