Job Description

Role Lockhart is situated 45 minutes from Wagga Wagga and services a farming district. Major products are grain and sheep. The town is known as the Verandah Town as the shopping centre has long continuous verandahs on each side of the street. Along the entire length of the verandahs footpaths are overarched designs depicting much of the history of Lockhart. My Client is the sole practice providing comprehensive care for a community which extends for about 50 or more kilometers in any direction. Provides at least six acute beds with an Accident & Emergency area to handle minor and serious emergencies. They also provide the long term aged care for the district and usually the ten beds are in high demand. A well provisioned palliative care room complements the comprehensive care provided at the facility. There is a 23 bed low level aged care facility. The town is self sufficient in the majority of services including sport, health and education. The proximity of Wagga Wagga is advantageous for accessing many other services especially entertainment and specialised shopping. Requirements If you are an International Medical Graduate you will have passed the AMC multiple choice examination and successfully cleared the IELTS or OET, making you completely eligible for medical registration in Australia. Successful candidates will possess extensive experience in working within hospitals and/or clinics within Australia or overseas, emergency, trauma and have general medical experience; you will possess a positive attitude and the right motivation for the job. Registration, Police Checks and full occupational health records are also required; however, our Medical Desk will assist you in obtaining these documents and will aide wherever possible.
