Senior Occupational Therapist • Competitive salary • Friendly and supportive working environment • Re-location packages Opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and determined Occupational Therapist to work in a reputable acute health hospital which provides a comprehensive range of medical care. This is an autonomous role within a very cohesive and supportive multi-disciplinary team environment with huge scope for growth. The position would suit someone who is really keen to take on a project and develop the Allied Heath team and resource pool. The role will involve: • Providing Occupational Therapy services to rehabilitative and acute care patients but also covering general medical and at times the maternity ward • Equipment prescription and provision • Upper limb splinting and therapy • Functional assessments and function based rehabilitation • Discharge planning • Pressure care The successful applicant must have: • Registration to work as an Occupational Therapist in the Northern Territory • 3+ years post-grad experience, ideally within a clinical rehab acute care setting • Desire to develop management and specialist Occupational Therapy skill areas In return you will receive: • Broad and challenging clinical experiences • A very supportive environment • Educational Opportunities This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Occupational Therapist wishing to further their career and be part of a friendly team.
