Job Description

An enthusiastic Occupational Therapist is needed for a fantastic opportunity in easy to reach Sydney location. Working within rehab and acute you'll be joining a dedicated multidisciplinary team who enjoy and take pride in their work. The unit encompasses inpatient and day therapy programs incorporating neurological, orthopaedic, amputee, pulmonary, cardiac and general rehabilitation. A friendly and supportive environment within a reputable Sydney hospital... Your role will involve: •Full Occupational Therapy Services to maximise patients ' function and independence •Provision of safe patient care •Assessment of patients within the rehabilitation unit or within medical and surgical wards •Provision of goal-directed, evidence-based therapy for hospital inpatients, day-patients and outpatients •Provision of education for patients, carers and other team members The successful candidate will have: •Diploma or degree in Occupational Therapy •NSW registration •Prior experience within an acute/rehab setting
