Due to high demand a new role has been created for a Paediatrics Occupational Therapist within a Childrens Therapy Centre. Currently this is a part time position spread over 4 days; however there is huge scope for growth and the aim is to go full time. Based in a popular tourist town, surrounded by beautiful countryside and yet just an hour away from the city of Sydney this is the perfect place for those seeking a better lifestyle. Your role will involve providing community based, early childhood intervention Occupational Therapy services to children with delayed development and special needs. Working collaboratively with families and across a multi-disciplinary team youll be involved in carrying out assessments, running group therapy programs and pre-school/school and home visits. Occupational Therapists with experience in early childhood intervention/paediatrics will be very highly regarded however this is not compulsory, what is necessary is an enthusiasm for helping young children and their families lead as happy a life as possible. This is a fantastic opportunity to work as part of a dedicated and strong team with a wealth of knowledge and experience.
