Successful candidates will possess recent experience in working within an Australian based hospital or a clinic, posses a positive attitude and the right motivation for the job. AIR registration, police check and full occupational health records are also required. Applicants must currently hold a qualification that is able to be registered with the NZ Medical Radiation Technologists Board. A full-time Ultrasound Sonographer is now available in the Radiology Services department in one of New Zealand’s largest Regional Hospitals. This role is open to all Sonographers with 1 + years experience in Ultrasound. Your duties will include but are not limited: • Abdominal, small parts, vascular, musculoskeletal, paediatric and Gynae imaging. • There is also the opportunity to scan in the Regional Hospitals obstetric Peri-Natal service for applicants with relevant experience. • A team player with a friendly outgoing nature. • The ability to guide and instruct more junior staff members. • Excellent inter departmental communication. As a Ultrasound Sonographer you will have a leading role in providing an efficient and high quality patient focused ultrasound service and be able to work in a busy tertiary referral hospital.
