Opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and determined Speech Pathologist to lead the team within in a reputable acute health hospital which provides a comprehensive range of medical care.

This is a management role within a very cohesive and supportive multi-disciplinary team environment with huge scope for growth. The position would suit someone who is really keen to take on a project and develop the resource pool.

The role will involve:

Providing high level leadership and operational management for the Speech Pathology services to ensure high level clinical outcomes and patient-focussed care

Developing a clear vision for service delivery and developing, implementing and monitoring Speech Pathology programs and policies across the district to ensure service equity

The successful applicant must have:

5+ years post-grad experience, most recently within a clinical acute care setting

Desire to develop management and specialist Speech Pathology skill areas

Current, advanced level clinical skills and extensive experience within a specialised area of Speech Pathology or across several generalist clinical areas

Demonstrated ability to provide leadership and a high level of management skills in relation to the strategic and operational management of the Speech Pathology team
