The doors to Australia’s first University Private Hospital opens on the 15th June! Macquarie University is the first university in the country to open a private hospital and will be based on the North Ryde campus, completely owned and managed by the University.
Patients will be able to go to one location to get all their treatment, as the collaboration with the integrated network with the Australian School of Advanced Medicine (ASAM) means that the hospital will attract a number of researchers and specialists to the same place. “To heal, to learn, to discover” are the three stated aims for the Macquarie University Hospital.
