National Hearing Care India offers free hearing screening

National Hearing Care, NHC, has now launched an operation in India. The launch took place on the 11th March this year, and the expansion is a part of a 36 months long aggressive growth plan. NHC is the leading audiology group in Asia Pacific focusing on rehabilitation and diagnosis of hearing loss. Lately, the company network has grown from 39 clinics to over 180 hearing clinics in Australia and New Zealand.

On a global scale, more than 250 million people are affected by hearing loss. In India, where more than 25,000 children are born deaf each year, the Government has decided to put more focus on the prevention and early diagnosis of deafness, treatment of ear infections and other diseases causing hearing loss.

 NHC in India has entered into a an association with Columbia Asia Hospital, and will provide CAH with a number of diagnostic and rehabilitative services, and support the Ear, Nose & Throat specialists in the hospital. The aim is to achieve the best hearing outcomes possible for patients. NHC will offer free hearing screening checks for persons with potential hearing problems. This will result in early detection and rehabilitation for individuals with hearing problems. ‪
